Apply for internship funding
Undergraduate Internship Awards
Undergraduate degree-seeking students enrolled in any major in the College of Arts and Sciences are invited to apply for internship awards to provide financial support while engaging in an internship, apprenticeship or practicum experience.
Eligibility and requirements
To be eligible, the student must be an Arts and Sciences major enrolled in an Arts and Sciences internship course (listed below) and have obtained an internship prior to receiving award funding. Internships must be one summer or semester in length. Applicants must also provide verification from a faculty member charged with supervising the internship course (faculty internship coordinator) that confirms internship course enrollment, site status, and supervision.
Award and application details
Each awardee receives a $2,000 scholarship that is applied to the student’s financial aid package. If the internship is not successfully completed, the award must be refunded.
Complete and acceptable applications will be prioritized by the following criteria:
- Students majoring in a degree program in the College of Arts and Sciences and enrolled full-time or have a history of full-time enrollment. Seniors need not be full-time if they do not require a full-time load to graduate.
- Students who have not received a prior internship award under this program.
- Depending on the number of applications received, faculty internship coordinators may be asked to help prioritize the applicants if endorsing more than one.
Annual application deadlines

Summer internship: March 1
