Douglas K. Benson Award for supporting diversity and inclusion

The Professor Douglas K. Benson Award is a $500 to $1,000 student award recognizing contributions to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging on campus. Eligible candidates must be full-time students in the College of Arts and Sciences with a 2.0 GPA or higher. The recipient must attend K-State as an undergraduate student during the academic year for which it is provided.

With this award, the College of Arts and Science, through the Diversity Committee, honors the late Dr. Doug Benson for his tireless advocacy on diversity issues at K-State and beyond.
