Degree requirements for Humanities
As part of earning your bachelor of art's degree, you will fulfill the K-State Core as well as the associated College of Arts and Sciences requirements in combination with the Humanities major specific coursework outlined below.
49-64 credit hours are needed in the major. Including:

- 9 credit hours of foundational courses wtihin the Humanities disciplines.
- Two humanities areas of concentration, with a 12 credit hour minimum to each (and at least 9 of those 12 hours being upper level).
- Completion of an applied learning experience.
- Completion of the A&S BA unrestricted electives.
- A 2.0 GPA is necessary overall for graduation and a minimum of a C is required in each of your major courses. 120 hours are required to graduate. At least 45 credit hours must be at the 300 level or higher.
- Additionally, A&S learners are asked to complete three overlay courses (Ethical Reasoning, Global Perspectives, and US Multicultural) and an Outside Concentration to further the diversity of their education and well-roundedness of their career preparation.
