Student Well-Being and Belonging Summit
The Student Well-Being and Belonging Summit focuses on understanding cultural competencies at K-State and why this is vital to creating a welcoming environment. It usually features student speakers and an interactive panel discussion. It is open to all students, faculty, staff and members of the community. Join this inspiring event and be part of the conversation as we celebrate K-State and explore our community.
“This enlightening experience offers attendees the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations," said Joseph Pondillo, senior in political science and social transformation studies and Arts and Sciences Student Ambassador.
Our most recent summit was April 12, 2024, in the Leadership Studies Building Town Hall room. K-State students presented personal stories that gave insight into the lived experiences of K-State’s student body, highlighting their challenges and triumphs.
Another summit is tentatively planned for 2026.
