The College of Arts and Sciences values teaching that:

  2. implements consistent, fair, effective, and transparent assessment practices that provide constructive feedback to students;
  3. prioritizes student-centered instruction that fosters engagement and promotes differentiated approaches to diverse learners through the creation of supportive, accessible, and inclusive learning environments;
  4. aligns student learning objectives, assessment, and instruction both across the course and with programmatic and institutional outcomes; and
  5. commits to continuous improvement and innovation using evidence-based strategies and course assessment results to inform instructional decisions and improve student learning outcomes.
