Instructional Design
Deborah Goins, your Instructional Designer for the College of Arts and Sciences, coordinates with faculty and graduate teaching assistants to provide training, resources, and support services for developing course content. She is passionate about building an inclusive educational culture and removing barriers to learning and continuously advocates for creating more equitable learning environments.
Deborah believes that proactive implementation of digitally accessible practices results in increased recruitment, retention and student success. So in her role, she applies instructional design principles, learning theory, online learning strategies, and technology integration to advise educators in the design of inclusive digital materials for online and hybrid courses.
