Davids-Dunham Award

The College of Arts and Sciences Diversity Committee invites nominations of faculty members for the 2024-2025 Davids-Dunham Award for promoting diversity through scholarship.

The award recognizes the research, teaching and service of faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences who identify with underprivileged groups and/or have made significant efforts to support diversity at K-State. The Award usually conveys $1,000-2,000.

We invite faculty and staff members to nominate deserving faculty members by completing this short nomination form. Self nominations are also welcome via the same form. The deadline is Fri., Feb. 14, 2025.

Eligibility:

Nominees must be College of Arts and Sciences faculty members of any rank. Preference will be given to junior faculty on the path to tenure, but mid-career faculty nominations are welcome.

About the award namesakes:

The Davids-Dunham Award is named for Sharice Davids and Ann Dunham. These individuals represent Kansas, have contributed to a discipline in the College of Arts and Sciences, and have made tremendous contributions to our society. Their work embodies the spirit of this award.
