Physics Spotlight - May 2016
The Department of Physics announced the recipients of their annual Physics Graduate Student Awards for 2015-16.
Yuli Heinson was named Outstanding Graduate Student Researcher. Heinson was nominated by her doctoral adviser, Chris Sorensen, Cortelyou-Rust University distinguished professor of physics.
Bahar Modir was honored for Outstanding Service in Teaching. She was nominated by Professor Brett DePaola for her work in an online course: Physics 102 - Physics for Policymakers.
