Psychological Sciences Spotlight - April 2016
University Distinguished Teaching Scholar in Psychological Sciences, Don Saucier, was recently named a Fellow of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI; Division 9 of the American Psychological Association).
APA/SPSSI Fellow status formally recognizes that Saucier has made “highly meritorious contributions to psychology and to the study of social issues, in particular.” His nomination was approved unanimously by the SPSSI Fellows Committee, by the APA Membership Committee, and finally, by APA Council.
The SPSSI Fellows Committee indicated that they were “particularly impressed by Dr. Saucier’s outstanding publication record; extensive involvement in leading academic conferences; and commitment to excellence in teaching.”
