School of Music, Theatre, and Dance Creates ‘Magic Everyday’ Promotional Video

To portray a day in the life of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in the College of Arts & Sciences, a promotional video titled “Magic Everyday” has been created.
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance officially became a school with Kansas Board of Regents’ approval in June 2012. The school celebrated the coming together of the three disciplines by creating a video to send the message that it’s an intensely creative place where many people are working together towards common goals.
“We tried to put together this uplifting representation of a number of the aspects of what we do. In no way, shape or form does this encompass everything,” said Gary Mortenson, director of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. “It brings home just how busy we are, how diverse we are and how many different things are available to students here at the university.”
