Graduate Dean's Award for Excellence, Engagement, and Leadership
The Graduate Dean's Award for Excellence, Engagement, and Leadership, established in 2024 by Graduate School Dean, Dr. Claudia Petrescu, recognizes graduate students who are excelling in their graduate programs. These graduate students not only thrive academically but also actively engage in professional development, demonstrate strong leadership, and inspire those around them.
Award
Two graduate students are selected for this award and receive a $1,000 scholarschip from the Graduate School. Awardees are recognized at the annual Spring Student and Faculty Recognition Celebration.
Eligibility requirements
To be considered for the Graduate Dean's Award for Excellence, Engagement, and Leadership, graduate students must actively engage in professional growth and participate in all three research forum events put on by the Graduate School.
