Making Your Move to the U.S.
June 5 8:30 - 10:00am U.S. Central Time REGISTER FOR ZOOM LINK Are you coming to the K-State from outside the U.S.? Join us for this session with current international graduate students who will share their tips on how to prepare for this major move and make it as smooth as possible.
Preparing for Your Assistantship
June 11 9:00 - 10:30am U.S. Central Time REGISTER FOR ZOOM LINK If you will be employed in an assistantship (graduate assistant, graduate teaching assistant, or graduate research assistant), we strongly encourage you to attend this session for guidance on a successful start to this role. We will also cover information on payroll and other benefits.
Enrollment, Billing, and Making Payments
Date, time, and registration coming soon! This session will guide you through the process of enrolling in classes and will provide an overview of tuition and fees billing and payment processes. This session is highly recommended if you are brand new to K-State.

International Student Orientation
(organized by International Student and Scholar Services) August 18, 8:00am 105 Umberger Hall
Hosted by International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), all new international students are required to attend an in-person orientation session on August 18. Additional workshops, a resource fair, and other activities will be held throughout the week to address needs of new international students and support a successful start to your K-State experience!

Orientation for Graduate Students with Teaching Responsibilities
(organized by the Teaching and Learning Center)

Graduate students who are beginning a GTA appointment or other role that involves teaching responsibilities are encouraged to attend this session, which will address GTA expectations presented by Dr. Don Saucier, Faculty Associate Director of the TLC, and support for GTAs from the Teaching and Learning Center. The session will also include a panel discussion with current GTAs to help new GTAs be successful in this role
