Data Analyst
- Organize and model data related to graduate student retention, progression, and completion.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with institutional and legal standards.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of graduate student performance metrics, including admission and retention rates, time-to-degree, and graduation rates.
- Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities that impact student retention and success.
- Develop dashboards and reports to visualize data findings for administrators, faculty, and other stakeholders.
- Partner with academic departments and student services as well as work closely with other data analysts on DAIR teams to support data-informed decision-making.
- Build predictive models to identify at-risk students and recommend targeted interventions.
- Provide training to faculty and staff on interpreting and utilizing data for decision-making.
Robert is a Data Analyst specializing in student success metrics at Kansas State University. With a background in the U.S. military and over six years of service, he brings a disciplined, mission-driven approach to his work. He holds both a master of Business Administration and a master of Science in Data Analytics from K-State, where he now applies his expertise in data insights and dashboard development to supporting strategic decision-making and improving student outcomes.
