Pivot Funding Database Training

The Pivot Funding Database is a subscription service provided by the Office of the VP for Research.  I will be offering several upcoming trainings to demonstrate how to:

  1. Use advanced search functions to find funding opportunities offered by federal agencies, foundations, private organizations, and international entities.
  2. Learn how to save funding searches and receive weekly updates for those opportunities.
  3. Update faculty profiles by adding keywords and other information to help find funding opportunities and to help find collaborators interested in similar topics.

The training lasts about 45 minutes to an hour.  Attendees can opt to stay after the session to update their profiles, if they choose.

Sessions Scheduled:

Wednesday, March 18 – 10:00 am - 11:30 am (Canceled due to COVID 19 precautions)

Monday, April 6 – 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm (Canceled due to COVID 19 precautions)

Location:

Calvin 306 computer lab

For questions or to set up an alternate training time to fit your schedule, please contact Laura Hohenbary (laura8@ksu.edu).
