Psychological Sciences Video Promotes Undergraduate Research

By Kaylee Engle

The psychological sciences department in the College of Arts & Sciences released a video to promote the undergraduate research opportunities it offers.

The video’s aim is to encourage current K-State students to start exploring possibilities in undergraduate research and show prospective students what the department has to offer. It also aimed to better educate people who weren’t as knowledgeable about K-State’s psychological sciences department.

“Our department is different from many other psychology departments because our Ph.D. programs cover areas other than clinical or counseling. That creates a lot of misconceptions,” said Michael Young, department head of psychological sciences. “We want people to get on our website and get a better feeling of what type of things happen in a department like ours.”
