Academic Advisor

Position Description

The College of Arts and Sciences at Kansas State University invites applications for an Academic Advisor. As a member of the Deans’ Office advising staff, the individual will advise students in the open option program and in interdisciplinary social sciences.

This is a 12-month, full-time, term appointment. Start date is negotiable, but prefer by April 21, 2014. Qualified candidates will possess a master’s degree, excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, and strong multicultural competencies. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching and/or advising in higher education.
